Subject: Request for MTB2 Run 101 geometry and uncertainty metadata for educational CFD benchmark

Dear MTB2 research team,

We are preparing an attributed educational benchmark using the public MTB2 v2 dataset and NASA/TM-20250004795. We have selected isolated two-blade rotor R2, Run 101, Points 6, 7, 8, 65, 64 and 63. We have not claimed CFD validation.

Could you advise whether the following are publicly available or shareable for educational use?

1. As-built blade/hub CAD or radial section coordinates, including root/tip geometry, twist-axis convention, collective reference, handedness, units and revision. Table 7.2.2 lists diameter 24.5 in and radius 12.245 in; which exact dimension should be used for geometry and coefficient normalization?
2. Definitive R2 hub axis/origin and rotation conventions, plus the physical surfaces represented by corrected Fz2_H and Mz2_H after tare and drift corrections.
3. Run-specific tunnel/support geometry, inflow and turbulence information, and wall/blockage corrections needed for a matched CFD comparison.
4. Pointwise uncertainty or the calibration covariance/variance and time-resolved statistics needed to reconstruct it under Section 9.1.2. We found LC2 sigma_Fz = 0.29 lb and sigma_Mz = 0.56 in-lb in Table 4 of NTRS 20250004157; please confirm their interpretation (the table says variances but gives load units), and provide the associated voltage vectors, inverse normal matrix and dynamic term if shareable. Please specify standard versus expanded uncertainty, confidence/coverage factors, degrees of freedom, correlation across channels/points, and input uncertainties.
5. Permission and preferred citation for redistributing any additional geometry or processed excerpts in a freely accessible educational workbook.

If the data cannot be shared, a citation or clarification of the limitations would also be helpful.

Thank you for providing the public MTB2 dataset.
